Installation diagram:

       1. The electronic separator is equipped with liquid level switch and electric butterfly valve. When the liquid level is lower than the lower limit, the electric valve is closed, and when the liquid level is higher than the upper limit, the electric valve is opened, which can be remotely controlled to display the dehydration condition (the duty room can manually close the electric valve). (optional)
       2. A water oil detection sensor is installed at the appropriate position of the drainage pipe to detect the oil content in the water in real time. When the oil content in the water exceeds the set maximum value, the equipment sends an alarm to the duty room and closes the electric butterfly valve, which can be remotely controlled and display the dehydration working condition (the duty room can manually close the electric valve). (optional)
       3. An electric blowdown valve is installed at the blowdown outlet, which can be transmitted remotely. The duty room can automatically blowdown regularly according to the on-site working conditions. The blowdown time is 2-3 seconds (optional). Advantages:

       1.Energy Saving: The use of automatic separator does not rely on any external power or require any personnel to operate.  The dehydration process is completely automatic, liberating the labor and workload.
       2.Safe and environmental-friendly: After the automatic separator is installed along with the refined oil storage tank, an automatic valve is installed at the outlet side of the automatic separator, so that the double-layers valve is in control to ensure security, and ensure that the oil does not leak. The average amount of oil after extraction is ≤ 200mg/L, which is more productive than artificial dehydration.
       3.Cost reduction and better effectiveness: Once the waste water is stripped from the crude oil, it can be drained, reducing the corrosion of the tank wall and prolonging the service life of the storage tank. In the meantime, the impurities at the bottom of the tank are partially discharged.  This way the separator can help discharge the sewage from the tank and reduce the cleaning workload and maintenance cost, as result the oil is purified.
       4.Electric control: The automatic separator is equipped with an electric control system, which enables the remote control through APP in smart phone.

Scope of application:
(1) Automatic separation of gas-liquid and liquid-liquid in the process of petroleum and petrochemical production.
(2) Automatic dehydration of various storage tanks in petroleum and petrochemical enterprises.
(3) Automatic separation of gas and liquid in the process of coalbed methane exploitation.
(4) Dehydration of liquefied gas storage tanks in coal chemical enterprises.
(5) During liquid-liquid separation, the density difference shall not be less than 0.15g/cm3.
Use case:

The figure above shows the naphtha tank farm of Shandong Shangneng Petrochemical Group. After the installation of electronic automatic separation device, it can be unattended. The separator is equipped with liquid level switch and electric butterfly valve. When the liquid level is lower than the lower limit, the electric valve will close, and when the liquid level is higher than the upper limit, the electric valve will open, indicating the dehydration condition (the electric valve can be closed manually in the duty room). Remote control, uninterrupted automatic drainage, double-layer valve control, safety insurance to ensure no leakage of oil products. The oil content of dehydrated water is ≤ 80mg / L, which is much better than manual dehydration and improves the level of environmental protection production. If there is water in the storage tank, it will be discharged immediately to reduce the corrosion of the tank wall and prolong the service life of the storage tank. At the same time, some impurities at the bottom of the tank will be discharged, taking into account the sewage function, reduce the cleaning times, reduce the maintenance cost and purify the oil products.
